The Civil Aviation (Customs and Excise Airports) Order 2021
Made 13th December 2021
Coming into force 1st January 2022
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred in article 219 of the Air Navigation Order 20161and with concurrence of the Commissioners of Revenue and Customs, makes the following Order.
Citation, commencement and extent
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Customs and Excise Airports) Order 2021 and comes into force on 1st January 2022.
(2) This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Revocation
2. The Civil Aviation (Customs and Excise Airports) Order 20012and the Civil Aviation (Customs and Excise Airports) Order 20093are revoked.
Designation of Customs and Excise aerodromes
3. The following aerodromes are designated as places for the landing or departure of aircraft for the purposes of the enactments for the time being in force relating to customs and excise—
Aberdeen Airport
Belfast International Airport
Biggin Hill Airport
Birmingham Airport
Blackpool Airport
Bournemouth Airport
Bristol Airport
Cambridge Airport
Cardiff Airport
Coventry Airport
Doncaster (Sheffield) Airport
East Midlands Airport
Edinburgh Airport
Exeter Airport
Farnborough Airport
Filton Airport
George Best (Belfast City) Airport
Glasgow Airport
Humberside Airport
Inverness Airport
