Coming into Force18 January 2016
(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Farriers’ Qualifications (European Recognition) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 18th January 2016.(2) These Regulations extend to Great Britain.
  • in sections 7(1) (f) and (6) , 9(3) and 15(1) (d) , for “the European Communities (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2007” substitute “the European Union (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2015”
  • in section 7(6) and (7) (a) , for “regulation 8” substitute “regulation 12”;
  • in section 7(7) , in the opening words, for “regulation 11 or 12” substitute “regulation 15 or 16”;
  • in section 9(3) , for “regulation 9(2) ” substitute “regulation 13(2) ”;
  • for “regulation 36(2) ” substitute “regulation 68(3) ”;
  • for “regulation 36(1) ” substitute “regulation 68(1) ”;
  • in section 15(1) (d) , for “regulation 17(1) ” substitute “regulation 24(1) ”.
    • carry out a review of these Regulations;set out the conclusions of the review in a report; andpublish the report.set out the objectives intended to be achieved by these Regulations;assess the extent to which those objectives are achieved; andassess whether those objectives remain appropriate and, if so, the extent to which they could be achieved in a less burdensome way.
