– Commissioners for Oaths;
– practising solicitors;
– other persons specif‌ied by statute;
– certain off‌icials of the Senior Courts;
– a circuit judge or district judge;
– any justice of the peace;
– certain off‌icials of the county court appointed
for the purpose.
Practice Direction A accompanying Part 14 of
the Court of Protection Rules 2017 sets out more
detailed requirements in relation to aff‌idavits.
