The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 36 of the Agriculture Act 1967(a) (including the powers conferred on them by the said section 36 as applied by section 41(7) of the said Act), sections 3 and 6 of the Horticulture Act 1960(b) (including the powers conferred on them by the said section 3 as applied by section 3(2) of the Agriculture and Horticulture Act 1964(c), which latter section is by virtue of section 8 of that Act to be construed as one with Part I of the Horticulture Act 1960) and section I of the Agricultural Improvement Grants Act 1959(d), each of the aforesaid sections being read with the Transfer of Functions (Wales) Order 1969(e), and, as respects works for the supply of water, the Secretary of State for Scotland acting in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsections (3) and (4) of section 1 of the said Act of 1959 and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State for Wales acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the said subsections as read with the Transfer of Functions (Wales) Order 1969, the said Ministers acting in exercise of the said sections 36 and 41(7) of the Agriculture Act 1967,...
