Application for default judgment for possession of land (rule 12.4(2))
Parties should use form PF 244/N244 attaching form No. 42 as a draft order
and including in Part A the following:
“......for an order that:
1. the claimant have judgment against the defendant for possession of the
land (describe land etc. as set out in claim form) [and for
damages/mesne profits]”
2. State: (1) brief grounds relied on,
(2) that the claimant does not seek any remedy referred to in
Schedule 1- RSC O.88 r.1,
(3) whether the claim relates to residential premises, [and if so,
whether the rateable value of the premises on every day
specified by s. 4(2) of the Rent Act 1977 in relation to the
premises exceeds the sum so specified or whether the rent for
the time being payable in respect of the premises exceeds the
sum specified in s. 4(4)(b) of the Act]
