Application for time (rule 3.1(2)(a))
(other than an application to extend time for service of a claim form)
Parties should use form N244 and include the following in paragraph 3:
“An order that the time for (state the step in the proceedings for which the extension is requested) be extended to (date to which extension is requested)”
In addition, the application notice should:
(1) state when time would otherwise expire; and
(2) give brief grounds relied on for the application.
