The Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Act 1966 (Application to Colonies etc.) (Amendment) Order 1967

Coming into Operation

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 22nd day of February 1967

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 6 of the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Act 1966 and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

S-1 Citation, commencement and construction

Citation, commencement and construction

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Act 1966 (Application to Colonies etc.) (Amendment) Order 1967 and shall come into operation on the day appointed for the purpose of section 4(1) of the Swaziland Constitution Order 19671.

(3) This Order shall be construed as one with the principal Order.

Amendment of section 3(1) of principal Order

2. Section 3(1) of the principal Order is amended by the insertion, immediately after the definition of , of the following proviso thereto—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends, in relation to Swaziland, the definition of the Governor of a territory in the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Act 1966 (Application to Colonies etc.) Order 1967.
