An Act for making a Railway from Banbridge to
join the Dublin and Belfast Junction Railway at
Scarvagh, [20th August 1853.]
HERE AS the making of a Railway from the Town of
Banbridge in the County of Down to a Point on the
Dublin and Belfast Junction Railway in the County of
Armagh, at or near to the Town of Scarvagh in the County of
Down would be of great "public Advantage, by opening an additional,
certain, and expeditious Means of Communication between the said
Town of Banbridge and the Ports of Newry, Dublin^ and Belfast ;
And whereas the Persons herein-after named, with other Persons and
Corporations, are willing, at their own Expense, to provide such Com-
munication
;
but the same cannot be effected without the Authority
of Parliament: May it therefore please Your Majesty that it may be
enacted; and be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty,
by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and
by the Authority of the same, as follows:
