HEREAS
by an Act (Public and General Act) made and
passed in the Nineteenth
and
Twentieth Years
of
Her
Rlajesty's
Reign, intituled
An
Act
to
amend
the
Laws
19&20Vict.
relating
w-
to
the
Burial
of
the
Dead
in
Ireland, and which Act
is
in
c.
98.
this Act referred
to
as
"
the recited Act,"
it
is
enacted (Section Three)
that in the Execution
of
that Act within the Limits or Boundaries of
any Borough, the
Town
Council
of
tlic Borough shall be
hcld
to be
the Burial Board
of'
such Borough
;
and
by
Section Fourteen it is
enacted that upm the Requisition in Writing
of
any
Two
or
inore
Members
of
the Burial Uoard
of
any Borough, thc Town Clerk
of
such Borough shall convene
a
Special Meeting of the Burial Board
of
such Borough for determining whether
a
Burial Ground shall be
provided under that Act, and that if
a
Majority
of
such Meeting
shall resolve that
a
Burial Ground shall
be
provided, such new Burial
Ground shall be provided in the same Manner
as
if
an
old
Burial
