the borough

Lancaster
is
it
county borough under the government
of
the mayor aldermen antl burgesses
of
the borough:
Arid whereas it
is
expedient
to
alter and extend the
boundaries
of
tlicx
borough
wid
of
the township
of
Blackpool
which is co-extensive with the
hornugh
so
as
to include therein
respectively the area
at
the
westerly side
o€
the borough
referred
to
in
this
Act:

whereas the undertaking authorised by the Blackpool
and Fleetwood Tramroad Acts
1806
and
1898
has been vested
in the Corporation in pursuance of the Blackpool Improvement

1919
and it is expedient
to
authorise the Coq~oration to
improve
the undertaking
by
the construction
of
the tramroads
and
trit1llwaty authorised
by
this -4ct and
to
empower them to

same
for
the
carriage
of
goods
and
minerals
in
pursuance
of
an agreement made between

of

lessees or reputed
owners and lessees and

the occupiers

the lands required
or which may be taken for the purposes or under the powers

this Act were duly deposited with the clerk of the peace for
the county palatine
of
