[1] This case was listed at Armagh on 13 June 2012 for determination of a
preliminary issue in relation to the validity of service of a Notice of
Determination dated 5 September 2011 refusing the prospective Appellant
Company compensation pursuant to Article 15(1) of the Criminal Damage (
Compensation) (NI) Order 1977. The case involves a relatively novel point of
a kind which may arise more frequently as solicitors are less involved in
processing applications for compensation arising out of alleged incidents of
criminal damage.
