present reviewer was compelled as a young articled clerk-too

unaided,

was

relief to turn from theory

and the new (edition is well equipped to serve the same purpose for new
generations.
Some

the Land Registry

that are
not
normally
kept in stock
in
a
solicitor’s. office are reproduced
in
the Appendix, where
is
also
to
be
found
a
print
of
the
Fees
Order: the book
is
equipped with an adequate
index,
although
no table
of
cases
or
statutes
was
considered
necessary.
