The Butter and Concentrated Butter Prices (Revocation) Order 1985

The Secretary of State, after consulting in accordance with section 2(6) of the Prices Act 1974(a) with the organisations therein referred to, in exercise of his powers under section 2(1) and (8) of that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Butter and Concentrated Butter Prices (Revocation) Order 1985 and shall come into operation on 23rd July 1985.

2. The Butter and Concentrated Butter Prices Order 1982(b) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This Note is not part of the Order.)

This Order revokes the Butter and Concentrated Butter Prices Order 1982 (which regulated the prices which could be charged for the sale of butter subsidised in pursuance of EEC butter subsidy regulations and concentrated butter produced from butter sold from EEC intervention stocks).
