The Buying Agency Trading Fund (Amendment) (Change of Name) Order 2001

Coming into force 3rd April 2001

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 1(1) and 6(1) of the Government Trading Funds Act 19731, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the concurrence of the Treasury, makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Buying Agency Trading Fund (Amendment) (Change of Name) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 3rd April 2001.

S-2 Amendment of the Buying Agency Trading Fund Order 1991

Amendment of the Buying Agency Trading Fund Order 1991

2. In article 3 of the Buying Agency Trading Fund Order 19912there shall be substituted for the words “the Buying Agency Trading Fund” the following:—

“OGCbuying.solutions Trading Fund” .

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Buying Agency Trading Fund Order 1991 (S.I. 1991/875) which established the Buying Agency Trading Fund.

Article 2 changes the name of the Buying Agency Trading Fund to OGCbuying.solutions Trading Fund.


(1) 1973 c. 63; the 1973 Act was amended by the Government Trading Act 1990 (c. 30) and the 1973 Act as so amended is set out in Schedule 1 to the 1990 Act; s.2 was further amended by section 119 of the Finance Act 1991 (c. 31) and s.210 of the Finance Act 1993 (c. 34); s.4 was further amended by s.29 of the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (c. 20).
