Call for special editions:
The International Journal of Police
Science and Management welcomes
proposals for special editions to feature
in volumes published from 2022 onwards.
The principal objective of the journal is to facilitate inter-
national exchange, stimulate debate and to encourage
closer bonds between academic research into the criminal
justice system and the practicalities of its day-to-day man-
agement of criminal justice organisations including, but not
necessarily confined to, the police. Topics such as police
operational techniques, crime pattern analysis, crime inves-
tigation management, accountability, performance mea-
surement, interagency cooperation and public attitude
surveys are welcome, and we are keen to receive sugges-
tions beyond this range.
The International Journal of Police Science and Man-
agement adheres to a rigorous double-blind reviewing
policy in which the identity of both the reviewer and
author are always concealed from both parties. Contri-
butions to Special Editions are subject to the usual
procedure.
If you would like to be considered as editor of a
special edition please send a title of the proposed
focus, along with a 200-word outline of the scope of
the work. If authors are already known then please
include details, but it might be that contributors are
sought after approval from the editorial team is con-
firmed. Please email suggestions to the Editor Michael.
