A MEASURE passed by the National Assembly of the Church of England

To amend the Channel Islands (Church Legislation) Measure, 1931.

S-1 Amendment of s.2 and s.3 of the Channel Islands \(Church Legislation) Measure, 1931.

1 Amendment of s.2 and s.3 of the Channel Islands \(Church Legislation) Measure, 1931.

In section two of the Channel Islands (Church Legislation) Measure, 1931, (hereinafter referred to as ‘the principal Measure’) the words ‘within two years after its passing’ and in section three of the principal Measure the words ‘within five years from the passing of this Measure’ are hereby repealed.

S-2 Amendment of para. 4 of the Schedule to the same Measure.

Paragraph 4 of the Schedule to the principal Measure is hereby amended by substituting for the words ‘one calendar month’ the words ‘fifteen days’.

This Measure may be cited as the Channel Islands (Church Legislation) Measure, 1931 (Amendment) Measure, 1957, and this Measure and the principal Measure may be cited together as the Channel Islands (Church Legislation) Measures, 1931 and 1957.
