The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 13 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985 ( a), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) (No.2) Order 1989.
2. The Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1986 ( b) is amended by deleting Schedule 2 thereto and substituting therefor the following-

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1986. It adds Norway and Sweden to the list of the Contracting States to the European Convention on Recognition and Enforcement of Decisions Concerning Custody of Children and on the Restoration of Custody of Children, signed at Luxembourg on 20th May 1980 (Cm. 191).
