If you, or someone you know, has made a huge contribution to your organisation's performance this year, why not send in a nomination for this year's CIMA and Financial Management Awards? These celebrate the achievements of CIMA professionals, employers, tutors and consultants who have made an impact in their field. You can nominate yourself or choose colleagues or business partners.

This year's competition features two new categories: the public-sector finance team of the year and the readers' award--innovative software solution of the year. The Latter invites FM readers to name the software packages that have significantly enhanced their business's performance.

The other eight categories are:

* Lifetime contribution to management accounting--for the organisation or individual who has contributed to the profession through their research, high profile and commitment.

* Financial business leader of the year--for the person whose commitment, leadership and skill has made a real strategic and financial gain for their organisation.

* Employer of the year--for the firm that has shown the biggest commitment to its CIMA trainees.

* Part-qualified of the year--for the up-and-coming business...
