COMMUNITY LAND

The Community Land (Land Acquisition and Management Schemes) (Scotland) Order 1976

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 16(5) and 53(2) of the Community Land Act 1975(a) and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf I hereby make the following order:—

Citation and interpretation

1. This Order may be cited as the Community Land (Land Acquisition and Management Schemes) (Scotland) Order 1976.

2. The Interpretation Act 1889(b) shall apply for the interpretation of this order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Latest date for making of land acquisition and management schemes in Scotland

3. A land acquisition and management scheme for the area of each regional planning authority or as the case may be general planning authority in Scotland shall be made not later than 1st April 1976 or such later date as the Secretary of State may agree in any particular case.
