WILLIAM C. WOHLFORTH is Professor of Government at Dartmouth
College, Hanover, USA. He is co-author with Stephen G. Brooks, of World
Out of Balance: International Relations Theory and the Challenge of American
Primacy, which will be published by Princeton University Press in 2008.
RICHARD LITTLE is Professor of International Politics at the University
of Bristol. He is the co-author with Barry Buzan of International Systems in
World History (Oxford University Press, 2000). His most recent book is The
Balance of Power in International Relations: Metaphors, Myths, and Models
(Cambridge University Press, 2007)
STUART J. KAUFMAN is Professor of Political Science and International
Relations at the University of Delaware. He is author of Modern Hatreds:
The Symbolic Politics of Ethnic War (Cornell University Press, 2001).
DAVID C. KANG is Associate Professor of Government at Dartmouth
College, Hanover, USA. His book, China’s Peaceful Rise in East Asia: Power,
Interests, and Identity in International Relations, will be published by
Columbia University Press in 2007.
CHARLES L. JONES is Reader in International Relations, Centre of
International Studies, University of Cambridge. He is co-author (with Barry
Buzan and Richard Little) of The Logic of Anarchy (Columbia University
Press, 1993) and author of E.H. Carr and International Relations
(Cambridge University Press, 1998).
VICTORIA TIN-BOR HUI is an Assistant Professor in Political Science at the
University of Notre Dame. She is the author of War and State Formation in
Ancient China and Early Modern Europe (Cambridge University Press, 2005).
