BACKGROUND AND PLEADINGS
1. On 14 January 2020 RONIN EXPORTS PRIVATE LIMITED (“the applicant”) applied
to register the trade mark shown on the cover page of this decision in the UK. The
application was published for opposition purposes on 15 May 2020. The goods for
which registration is sought have been amended several times and now read as
follows:

2. On 15 July 2020 Scandinavian Travel Innovation AB (“the opponent”) opposed the
application on the basis of Sections 5(2)(b), 5(3) and 5(4)(a) of the Trade Marks Act
1994 (“the Act”). Under Sections 5(2)(b) and 5(3) of the Act the opponent relies upon
the following International Registration designating the UK:
