The Designation of Structure Plan Areas (Scotland) Order 1995

Made 16th November 1995

Laid before Parliament 22th November 1995

Coming into force 1st April 1996

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 4A of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 19721and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

S-1 Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Designation of Structure Plan Areas (Scotland) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st April 1996.

S-2 Designation of structure plan areas

2. The areas specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order, being the districts of the planning authorities specified in the related entry in column 2 of that Schedule, are designated as areas in respect of which planning authorities are to prepare structure plans.
