The Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 (Commencement No. 4) (Scotland) Order 1986

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 40(2) of the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986(a), hereby makes the following order:-

1. This order may be cited as the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 (Commencement No. 4) (Scotland) Order 1986 and applies to Scotland only.

2. The provisions of the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 specified in the Schedule to this order shall come into force on 1st January 1987.

3. All the provisions of the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 which extend to Scotland and are not already in force, (other than the provisions specified in the Schedule to this order) shall come into force on 12th January 1987.

This order brings into force in Scotland on 1st January 1987 the provisions of the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 set out in the Schedule to the order.
