Education (Scotland) (Provision of Meals) Act, 1914.

(4 & 5 Geo. 5.) CHAPTER 68.

An Act to remove doubts as to the interpretation of the Education (Scotland) Act, 1908, in regard to the provision of meals for school children.

Be it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

S-1 Powers of school board as to feeding of school children.

1 Powers of school board as to feeding of school children.

1. The powers and duties of a school board under the Education (Scotland) Act, 1908, shall, as regards the provision of food, be exerciseable in respect of children attending a school within their district both on days when the school meets and on the days.

2. This Act may be cited as theEducation (Scotland) (Provision of Meals) Act, 1914.
