An interview with Anthea Rutter
In these interviews with some of the Australian Evaluation Societys leading evaluators,
I have tried to capture their perspective on evaluation as well as their thoughts on their
role as an evaluator. I am also curious as to how they came into evaluation. This
involves looking at a persons life journey and the decisions they have made along the
way to reach this stage in their career.
Amy hails from the mid-west of the USA. She was born in St Paul, Minnesota and
had a few moves in her childhood around that mid-west area (South Dakota, Wash-
ington DC, Colorado) and then moved to Michigan. (Amys father is also an evaluator,
