The European Federation of Accountants (FEE) has issued a paper giving its views on future moves towards global financial reporting convergence.
It has listed three key points that it considers vital for effective progress towards a unified reporting mechanism: substantive European input to the International Accounting Standards Board's programme; improved co-ordination; and increased consultation and transparency.
