Consent to supplement the track usage price list
The Office of Rail and Road hereby consents to the parties’ request made under
paragraph 9 of Part 2 of Schedule 7 of the Track Access Contract to supplement the Track
Usage Price List to include new rates for Class 701 passenger vehicles.
For the purposes of the Track Access Contract, the section of the Track Usage Price List
titled “Passenger Variable Usage Charge rates” shall be supplemented by the inclusion of:
Vehicle Type Pence per vehicle mile
(2017/18 prices)
Class 701/T 4.06
Class 701/5M1 8.15
Class 701/5M2 5.1
Class 701/0M1 7.69
Class 701/0M2 5.08
This supplement shall have effect from the date the vehicles start to operate on the
network. Terms defined in the Track Access Contract shall have the same meaning in this
notice. The rates in the above table are 2017/18 prices,
consistent with the price base of the Track Usage
Price List.
