SectionRegulation 29 appeal by DBS for access and services at Freightliner Southampton Maritime Terminal
Hi ,
I have spoken to our Ops colleagues at FLL and have answers to your follow-up questions.
1) Could you confirm that: 4O17 was the inwards traffic, from Lawley Street, the return train, was
4M79, (2253 from Millbrook/2253 Maritime).
4O17 (inward traffic from Lawley Street) formed 4E01 (ETD 0215).
2) When was this? (you say ‘recently’ but could you specify for us). How many months did it last?
4O17 was moved to Maritime in February 2014 but resulting terminal performance issues resulted in
the service returning to Millbrook after approximately 2 weeks. These performance issues are
outlined in page 6 of our response.
3) What happened to the flow after you decided it did not work operationally [at Maritime]?
The flow returned to Millbrook see track occupation chart in Appendix 5.
If you need any further information on any of this please let me know.
