Appeal for access and services at Southampton Maritime Freightliner Terminal : Disclosure
Thank you for your letter dated 25th June 2015 regarding disclosures in relation to the DBS appeal
for access and services at Southampton Maritime Freightliner Terminal.
With regard to the full disclosure of the Appendix 5 we note the views of the Office of Rail and Road
(ORR) in this regard. We do accept that it is possible to view the site and all its working from the
public road but contend that it would be difficult to have the same understandings of the detailed
workings without the detailed provided in Appendix 5.
We have produced a further version of the Appendix 5 that shows much of the information, such as
track occupancy and arrivals and departures but does not show all of the detailed information of the
workings of the terminal provided in the submission to the ORR. It is this detailed information that
we consider to be of commercial value and is based on many years of knowledge and application.
We request that the ORR consider the disclosure of this revised version to DBS.
