FORTHCOMING
MEETINGS
AND
CONFERENCES
We
publish
below
a
formidable
list
of
meetings
and
week-end
schools
arranged
by
various
areas,
in
the
hope
that
Probation
Officers
will
bear
them
in
mind
when
planning
their
annual
holidays.
These
conferences
are
all
arranged
with
the
intention
of-
giving
Probation
Officers
an
opportunity
to
know
each
other
personally
and
enable
them
to
discuss
together
the
problems
which
have
confronted
them
and
the
solutions
they
have
found.
We
are
con-
ndent
they
will
continue
to
be
well
attended,
for
they
do
a
great
deal
toward
developing
the
corpor-
ate
feeling
among
Probation
Officers
which
is
very
desirable.
Officers
who
are
thinking
of
attending
one
of
these
conferences
should
get
in
touch
with
the
secretary
of
the
branch
concerned
as
soon
as
possible.
