FREEDOM OF INFORMATION

The Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2002

Made 17th October 2002

Laid before Parliament 21th October 2002

Coming into force 11th November 2002

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 4(1) and (6) and 7(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 20001, and after consultation with the National Assembly for Wales and the First Minister and deputy First Minister in Northern Ireland in accordance with section 4(7) of that Act, makes the following Order:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information...

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 11th November 2002.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

S-2 The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 1 to this Order shall...

2. The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 1 to this Order shall be added to Part VI of Schedule 1 to the Act, at the appropriate place in each case.

S-3 The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 2 to this Order shall...

3. The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 2 to this Order shall be added to Part VII of Schedule 1 to the Act, at the appropriate place in each case.
