The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 10(3) of the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973(a), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

Continuation in force of sections 1 to 8 of Act of 1973

1. Sections 1 to 8 of the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973 shall continue in force for a period of one year beyond 30th November 1974 that being the date on which they would otherwise expire.

Citation and Commencement

2. This Order may be cited as the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973 (Continuation) Order 1974 and shall come into operation on 21st November 1974.

(This Note is not part of the Order.)

This Order continues in force for a further year the provisions of sections 1 to 8 of the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act 1973.
