The necessity for urgent action on climate
change is clear: a summer of extreme weather
has shown how its impact is distributed
unevenly around the world and seeps into
every aspect of political life. Amongst other
things, climate change worsens existing
inequalities, including those around food
security, gender injustice, and poverty.
