The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, and the Secretary of State for Scotland, as respects Scotland, in exercise of their powers under sections 1(2) and 2(7) of the Home Purchase Assistance and Housing Corporation Guarantee Act 1978 (a) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following order:—
Citation and Commencement
1. This order may be cited as the Home Purchase Assistance (Price-limits) Order 1983 and shall come into operation on 28th February 1983.
Prescribed price-limits
2. The amounts mentioned in Column 2 of the Schedule to this order are prescribed as the price-limits in respect of house property situated in the parts of Great Britain mentioned in Column 1.
Revocations
3. The Home Purchase Assistance (Price-limits) Order 1981 (b) and the Home Purchase Assistance (Price-limits) (Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire) Order 1981 (c) are hereby revoked.
