The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, and the Secretary of State for Scotland, as respects Scotland, in exercise of their powers under sections 1(2) and 2(7) of the Home Purchase Assistance and Housing Corporation Guarantee Act 1978(a) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following order:—
Citation and commencement
1. This order may be cited as the Home Purchase Assistance (Price-limits) Order 1985 and shall come into operation on 20th July 1985.
Prescribed price-limits
2. The amounts mentioned in column 2 of the Schedule to this order are hereby prescribed as the price-limits in respect of house property situated in the parts of Great Britain mentioned in respect thereof in column 1.
Revocation
3. The Home Purchase Assistance (Price-limits) Order 1984(b) is hereby revoked.
