The Hydrocarbon Oil (Amendment) Regulations 1976

The Commissioners of Customs and Excise, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon them by section 19 of the Hydrocarbon Oil (Customs & Excise) Act 1971(a) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:—

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Hydrocarbon Oil (Amendment) Regulations 1976 and shall come into operation on 19th April 1976.

(2) The Interpretation Act 1889(b) shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

2. The Hydrocarbon Oil Regulations 1973(c), as amended (d), shall be further amended by substituting in Regulation 4 for the words "sections 86 and 89 of the Act of 1952"(e) the words "Regulation 8 of the Warehousing Regulations 1975"(f).
