Introduction
[1] On 19 January 2023 the defendants pleaded guilty to a series of charges which
related to injuries inflicted on Nadia Kalinowska who died on 15 December 2019.
She was the five-year-old daughter of Mrs Wahab and therefore the step daughter of
Mr Wahab.
[2] Mr Wahab pleaded guilty to three counts on an amended indictment:
Count 1 Murder of Nadia between 13 and 16 December 2019.
Count 2 Causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Nadia between 11
and 15 December 2019.
Count 15 Causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Nadia between 1
July and 14 September 2019.
