Facts/Background
[1] On 10 October 2022 the defendant pleaded guilty to the following offences:
Count 2 Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm on 1 February 2020, contrary
to section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
Count 3 Attempting to choke with intent to commit an indictable offence (rape)
on 1 February 2020, contrary to section 21 of the Offences Against the
Person Act 1861.
Count 5 Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm on 19 April 2019, contrary to
section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
Count 6 Attempting to choke with intent to commit an indictable offence (rape)
on 19 April 2019, contrary to section 21 of the Offences Against the
Person Act 1861.
Count 7 Attempted rape on the 19 of April 2019, contrary to Article 3 (1) of the
Criminal Attempts and Conspiracy (NI) Order 1983 and Article 5(1) of
the Sexual Offences (NI) Order 2008.
