'WHEREAS an Act was passed in the Tenth Year of Her Majesty, intituled Ireland: And whereas an Actof the Twelfth and Thirteenth Years of Her Majesty, Chapter Twenty-three, was passed ‘to authorize further Advances of Money for the Improvement of Landed Property, and the Extension and Promotion of Drainage and other Works of public Utility inIreland:’ And whereas another Act of the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Years of Her Majesty, Chapter Thirty-one, was passed ‘to authorize further Advancesof Money for Drainage and the Improvement of Landed Property in the United Kingdom, and to amend the Acts relating to such Advances:’ And whereas, under the Eighth Section of the said last-recited Act, Loans were authorized to be made for the Erection of Farm Buildings inIreland , and it is expedient to authorize Loans to be made in like Manner for the Erection of Dwellings for the Labouring Classes in Ireland: ' Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same,

S-I Loans may be made out of Money granted for the Improvement of Landed Property in Ireland for the Erection of Dwellings for the Labouring Classes in Cases herein stated.

I Loans may be made out of Money granted for the Improvement of Landed Property in Ireland for the Erection of Dwellings for the Labouring Classes in Cases herein stated.

I. That out of any Money authorized to be advanced for facilitating the Improvement of Landed Property inIreland , under the said recited Act of the Tenth Year of Her Majesty, or under the said secondly-recited Act, or under such Part of the thirdly-recited Act as relates to the Improvement of Landed Property in Ireland , Loans may be made for the Erection of Dwellings for Labourers and their Families in any Case in which it shall appear to the Commissioners for Public Works in Ireland that more or improved Accommodation for such Labourers is required; and the Commissioners, as the Condition of such Loan, shall require existing Dwellings to be removed, if they shall consider such Removal expedient, and shall not...
