Cap,186.
Act to enable the Truftees of the Will of
'Thomas
Peter Legh Efquire, deceafedj to purchafe Eftates
for the Benefit of their Truft; and to fell certain of
the Eftates devifed by the Will of the faid Thomas
Peter Legh, for rairing. Money to pay for fucli
purchased Eftates, and for. reimburfing a Sum
expended in the Redemption of the Land Tax,
charged on other Eftates of the faid Thomas Peter
Legh.,

and Whaley, or elfewhere within
the faid Manor ; to the Intent that the faid Lord the King, having Seifin
thereof by his Steward of the Manor and Foreft aforefaid or his Deputy,
might give and grant all and fingular the Hereditaments and Premifes
aforefaid with the
Appurtenances unto.' John Hawkins heretofore, of

Peter Legh had then lately purchafed or acquired on Grant or Sur-
render of

the Right Honourable. Thomas Earl fivers, with the Ap-
purtenances, and alfo all other the Meffuages, Cottages, Lands, Tene-
ments, Rents, Reverfions, Services ^and Cuftomary or Copyhold Here-
ditaments within the Manor-and Foreft aforefaid, of which the fame Peter
Legh,
or any other Perfon or Perfons in Truft for him or for his Ufe,
then,or then late was or were feifed or had any Copyhold or Cuftomary
Eftate of Inheritance in Poffeflion, Reverfion, Remainder or otherwife
howfoever, with all and fingular. their and every of their Appurtenances,
to the Intent that the faid Lord the King, having. Seifm thereof by his
Steward of the Manor and Foreft aforefaid or his Deputy, fhould give
and grant all and fingular the Hereditaments and Premifes aforefaid, with
the Appurtenances to Edward
