An Act

confirm certain Provisional Orders
of
the Local
AD-
1895.
Government Board relating
to
the Counties
of
Berks
Carnarvon Derby Dorset the
Parts
of
Lindsey
Merioneth Nottingham Somerset Southampton Wilts
and the West Riding
of
Yorkshire. [6th July
1895.1

HEREAS
the Local Government Board have made the
Provisional Orders set forth in the schedule hereto under
the provisions
of
:
And whereas
it
is requisite that the said Orders should be
confirmed
by
Parliament
:
Be
it
therefore enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty
by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal. and
Commons
in
this present Parliament assembled and
by tthe authority of the same as follows
:-

The Orders
as
altered and set out
in
the schedule hereto shall
Orders
be and the same are hereby confirmed and all the provisions thereof

WHEREAS by Section
54
of the Local Government Act
1888
{which Act
is
herein-after referred to as
"
the Act
")
the Local Government Board are
empowered to make a Provisional Order for altering the boundary of any
And whereas each of the Parishes of Hungerford and Shalbourn is now situate
partly in the County
of
Rerks and partly in the County
of
Wilts and the part of
the said Parish of Hungerfwd which is situate in the County
of
Berks
is
included
in the Hungerford Electoral Division and the Hungerford Fetty Sessional
Division of that County and the part
of
the Parish
of
Sbalbourn which is situate
in the County of Wilts is included
in
the Bedwyn Electoral Division the
Marlborough and Hungerford Petty Sessional Division and the Middle
Coroner's District of that County
;
And whereas the Parish of Combe now forms part of the County
of
Southampton
:
Now therefore We the Local Government Board in pursuance
of
the powera
given to
Us
by Sections
54
and
59
of the Act and
by
any other enactments
in
