In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 70 of the Defence (General) Regulations, 1939, as having effect by virtue of the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) Act, 1945(a), as extended by the Supplies and Services (Extended Purposes) Act, 1947(b), and of all other powers him enabling, the Minister of Transport hereby makes the following Order:—
1. This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of September, 1949, and may be cited as "The London Traffic (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1949".
2. The London Traffic (Miscellaneous Provisions) (No. 2) Order, 1948(c), shall have effect as though:—
(a) for the definition of "Restricted Street" in Article 1 there were substituted the following definition:—
"'Restricted Street' means any highway specified in the Schedule to this Order (hereinafter referred to as 'a scheduled street') and the first 45 feet of every other highway which joins a scheduled street at any side of that street measured from the junction of the highway with the scheduled street";
(b) the item in the Schedule to that Order numbered 27 were omitted;
(c) for the items in the Schedule to that Order numbered 20, 25, 30, 32, 43, 46, 52, 59 and 68, there were substituted the items similarly numbered in the Schedule to this Order; and
(d) there were added to the Schedule to that Order the items numbered from 72 to 121 inclusive in the Schedule to this Order.

SCHEDULE
In the Metropolitan Borough of Hackney:— 20. Upper Clapton Road and between the junction of Upper Clapton Lower Clapton Road Road with Beecholme Road and the junction of Lower Clapton Road with Millfields Road, with the exception of that portion, of Lower Clapton Road which lies to the east of the central garden enclosures In the Metropolitan Borough of Hammersmith:— 25. Uxbridge Road from its junction with Lime Grove eastward to the Borough boundary In the Metropolitan Borough of Hampstead:— 30. Finchley Road between its junction with Lithos Road and its junction with Adelaide Road with the exception of the service road lying on the north-east side of the main carriageway of Finchley Road...
