HEREAS the re are within the Manor of Long Marten
in the
County
of
Weftmorland, feveral Open Commons and Wafte
Grounds, containing
by
Eftimation Five hundred Acres
or
thereabouts,
and
alfo
a
certain Common Stinted Pafture called Marton
Park^ containing alfo by Eftimation Five hundred Acres"
or
thereabouts
:
And whereas the Right Honourable William Vifcount Lcy Baron
of
Whitehaven^
in
the County
of
Cumberland^
is
Lord
of
the Manor,
and
Owner
of
the Soil
of
the faid Open Commons and Wafte Grounds,:and
of the faid Common Stinted Pafture, and
of
the Coal Mines, Veins,
and
Seams
of
Coal, and all other Mines and Minerals in and under the fame
:
And whereas the Right Honourable Sackville Earl
of
Thanet is Patron
of
