Lord Brounker and Sir Robert Atkyns: Puis

[2] 2. loud brounker and sir robert atkyns: Puis. In ejectione firmie between Lord Brounker and Sir Robert Atkyns, for the mastership of the Hospital of St. Catherine's, which is a corporation consisting of the master, brethren, and sisters; and in this case it was said, that where there is a common seal put to a deed, that is title enough of it self without witness to prove it, or that the major part of the college be agreed; and if it be said that it was put to by the hand of a stranger, that shall be proved on the side that says so. Sir Robert Atkyns moved that they might declare by the name of Lord Brouuker, Master, &c. for that if they should declare by the name of Master, Brethren, &c. generally, and he should confess lease, entry and ouster, he should be tricked for confession of lease by the master, shall be intended the lawful master; wherefore by consent they declared by name of Lord Brounker, Master, &c. and took out a new original, and Sir Robert Atkyns confessed lease, entry...
