The Lotteries (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1981

In pursuance of section 18(1)(a) and (b) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(a), I hereby make the following Order:—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Lotteries (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1981 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1981.

(2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.

2. In the provisions of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters mentioned in the second column of that Schedule), for the monetary limits specified therein and set out in the third column of that Schedule, there shall be substituted the monetary limits specified opposite thereto in the fourth column of that Schedule.
