Peter Lucas being seised in fee of the mannor of Fenton, in the county of Lincoln, dieth thereof seised, and the same descended to Brian Lucas his son, then within age, an office is found whereby the dying seised and descent are found, and that the same mannor was holden of a common person by soccage, and after the ;i3 of Eliz. by melius inquir- 598 BRUSES CASK LEY, 18. endura, the same is held of the Queens Majesty by knights service, as of the fee of Gaunt, Brian Lucas, after his office found, and before livery, or oustre le maine, maketh a feoffment of the said manuor and demesnes then in his occupation, to the use of his wife for a joynture for life, and after...
