The issue and Change Proposal
1
In October 2022, the Code Change Committee agreed to delegate CPM049 to MOSL to
recommend directly to Ofwat for decision. The Code Change Committee further agreed
that CPM049 better facilitates the Principles of the MAC and the proposed changes
were non-substantive and of a housekeeping nature.
The MAC currently contains several typographical errors including spelling mistakes
and inconsistencies that need correcting in order to make sure that the MAC is clear. It
also contains redundant or incorrectly defined terms and definitions. The correction of
these should leave less room for parties to potentially misinterpret their obligations.
These minor changes are included in the Final Recommendation Report.
There are no expected impacts on Trading Parties or Customers.
