Middlesex Registry Act, 1891

(54 & 55 Vict.) CHAPTER 10.

An Act to make temporary Provision for the business of the Middlesex Registry of Deeds.

[11th May 1891]

B E it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

S-1 Transfer of registrar's duties.

1 Transfer of registrar's duties.

1. All powers by the Act of the seventh year of Queen Anne, chapter twenty, and the Acts amending it, vested or exerciseable in or by the registrars or masters therein mentioned collectively, or in or by any of them individually, shall be transferred to and may be exercised by the registrar of the Land Registry, and rules may be made by the Lord Chancellor for carrying this Act into effect.

2 Short title.

2. This Act may be cited as theMiddlesex Registry Act, 1891; and the Act of the seventh year of Queen Aline, chapter twenty, may be cited as the Middlesex Registry Act, 1708.
