The Milk (Extension of Period of Control of Maximum Prices) Order 1969

Whereas a draft of this Order has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:

Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 6 of the Emergency Laws (Re-enactments and Repeals) Act 1964(a), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Milk (Extension of Period of Control of Maximum Prices) Order 1969, and shall come into operation on 31st December 1969.

2. Section 6 of the Emergency Laws (Re-enactments and Repeals) Act 1964 shall continue in force for a further period of 5 years from the end of 1969.
