Recovery of instalments not exceeding £5 - County Court or Petty Sessions -Costs.
Notwithstanding the provisions of s. 21 of the Summary Jurisdiction Act (Northern Ireland), 1935, there is no jurisdiction in a Court of Petty Sessions to entertain a claim for the recovery of an instalment of land purchase annuity not exceeding £5, and, accordingly, costs on the County Court scale may be awarded against an unsuccessful defendant to such a claim brought by Civil Bill in the County Court.
